Bio Details

Riaz Bandali has served as president of Nelson Labs since July 2026.  He previously served as president of Nordion from 2022-2026. Before joining Sotera Health, Mr. Bandali was the chief executive officer and president at Emerald Health. Prior to Emerald Health, he served as the president of Early-Stage Development & Translational Sciences at Syneos Health and as vice president & general manager, Early Stage Development, at MDS Pharma Services (now Celerion). In both roles, he oversaw the bioanalytical lab business segment and its lab operations in the US, Canada and Europe. Mr. Bandali holds a bachelor’s degree in science (Microbiology) from University of British Columbia and an M.B.A. from McGill University.
